Down On The Farm: BJ Upton Homers In AAA Rehab Start
Durham 7, Toledo 5. Mitch Talbot gave up 5 runs in 6 innings. He struck out 7 and walked 4. Scott Dohmann pitched a perfect 8th and 9th with 4 strike outs to pick up the win. BJ Upton went 1-3 and homered in his 3rd rehab start. He played second and batted 3rd. Joel Guzman hit his 12th home run.

Montgomery 6, Birmingham 1. Wade Davis picked up his second win in three AA starts, striking out 5 in 7 innings and allowing 1 run on 5 hits and 1 walk. Reid Brignac and Evan Longoria went a combined 0-7.

Daytona 9, Vero Beach 6. Josh Butler had his second straight rough outing since his promotion to Vero Beach. On Sunday he allowed 8 runs (5 earned) in 4 innings, giving up 8 hits and 1 walk. He is now 1-2 with a 8.40 ERA. The Rays hit 4 home runs to account for all 6 runs. Rhyne Hughes hit his 10th.

Savannah 8, Columbus 2. Wade Townsend was knocked around for 8 runs (7 earned) in 5 innings. Savannah collected 9 hits including 3 home runs off of Townsend. Ryan Royster hit his 15th home run, a 2-run shot.
