King David Roughed Up For First Time As A Pro
Charlotte 6, Durham 2. Jeremy Cummings picked up his first loss of the season after giving up 6 runs in 5.1 innings. He struck out 6 and walked none...Fernando Perez was 2-3 with 2 walks and stole 2 bases...Joel Guzman was 3-5 with 2 RBI and is now hitting .272 with a .776 OPS...Reid Brignac was 1-5.

Birmingham 12, Montgomery 4. Wade Davis got roughed up with 6 runs in 2 innings. He gave up 7 hits and a walk including a home run...John Jaso was 2-4 and drove in 3.

Vero Beach 7, Sarasota 3. David Price had his first rough outing as a pro, although it was not as bad as his line would suggest. Price gave up 3 runs in 5.1 innings on 11 hits and a walk. Price was a bit unlucky as all 11 hits were singles and 6 of the hits were groundball singles. He struck out 4...Desmond Jennings was 0-2 with 2 walks and scored 2 runs. He stole his 2nd base...John Matulia was 3-4 and raised his average to .389...Cesar Suarez was 2-3 with 3 RBI.
