Wade Davis Pitches 7 Scoreless In Triple-A Debut
Durham 4, Syracuse 0. Wade Davis was dominating in his triple-A debut, pitching 7 scoreless innings, allowing only 3 hits. He struck out 6 and walked 3. He also hit a batter...Juan Salas pitched 2 scoreless innings for his first save...Chris Richard provided most of the offense with a 2-run home run and 3 RBI total...Reid Brignac was 2-4...Justin Ruggiano was 1-4 with a walk and stole 4 bases. He now has 18 on the year...Fernando Perez also added his 29th and 30th stolen bases.

Montgomery 6, Birmingham 4. Jason Cromer made his first start of the season working 4 innings, and giving up 3 runs (2 earned) on 6 hits and no walks...Eddie Morlan pitched 2 scoreless innings of relief...Rashad Eldridge had 3 hits in 4 at bats, scoring twice...Rhyne Hughes drove in 2 with a double and a single in 3 at bats. He also walked once.

Vero Beach 5, Lakeland 4. Brandon Mann gave up 2 runs in 4 innings. He struck out 4...Neil Walton was 1-4 with a double and 2 RBI.

Lexington 16, Columbus 10. Alex Cobb was pounded for 7 runs (3 earned) in 4 innings. He struck out none and walked 1...Glenn Gibson was even worse, giving up 5 runs on 6 hits and a walk in 1 inning...7 different Catfish had at least 2 hits including Maiko Loyola who was 2-5 with his 4th home run and Stephen Vogt who finished 3-5 with his 3rd home run and drove in 4.

Aberdeen 11, Hudson Valley 1.

Greeneville 3, Princeton 1. Tim Beckham went 0-4 with a strikeout.
