Mitch Talbot gave up 7 runs in the first 2 innings and was pulled before retiring a batter in the 3rd...Chris Mason relieved him and proceeded to give up 10 runs in less than 2 innings of work...The Bulls were shut out for 6 innings by the Reds top prospect Homer Bailey.

Brooklyn 5, Hudson Valley 3. Tim Beckham did not play for the 3rd straight game. No word yet on why Becks is not playing. It could be that he is getting rest in preparation for the Instructional League this fall.
