A Fitting 3rd Anniversary Indeed
Apparently the gift for a 3rd anniversary is "ALDS WIN".
Tonight the Rays took a 2-0 lead in the ALDS and for some reason that seems secondary to what we should really be celebrating.
Today (we think...we might be off by a day) marks the 3rd anniversary of the day Stuart Sternberg took control of the Rays. Looking back three years to the day, could we have imagined that the TAMPA BAY RAYS would be 1 win from the American League Championship Series? What a sweet ride it has been.
*Raise the glass* To Mr. Sternberg and the rest of the Tampa Bay Rays...Cheers.

Every time I see the "I want to name my first child after Stuart Sternberg even if it is a girl" I keep thinking of the Johnny Cash song "A Boy Named Sue" turned into "A Girl Named Stu."
Sue eventually forgives his father, but is never really happy about the name.
